Q & A
what is the max voltage the RcExl kill switch supports? The iginition provided with the RCGF engines states 7.4 - 14 V, which makes a 2S LiFe battery to be marginal. If I go with a 3S battery, will the kill switch survive it or I risk to burn it? Or the ignition can actually work with 2S Life batteries?
The max voltage for RCEXL is 14 Volts . We suggest to use 7.4V to 14 V battery . Fully charged 3S Life battery is around 12 Volt , it's ok to use for the CDI Ignition.

I have one of these on every gas engine I own. Work well and never failed. I also use mulitple of these switches to control LED lighting.
I have used several of these and they have all worked quite well. No ignition noise transfer and they reliably kill the engine on command.
