Great engines, the only engines I use !!!
First. The engine is very well made of quality materials. Now after I have run mine with at least 1.5 hours run time I will tell you what will go wrong. All is fixable easily. The muffler will come off after about 5 minutes. The only fix that worked for me was to remove the gasket completely, clean and use high temp silicone on flange and bolt threads. Get longer bolts and a thick washer that will completely cover the holes and drill safety wire holes in new bolt head and safety. The compression on mine was terrible even after almost 2 hours of running. Get a good Bowmans piston ring. Search the internet. These things made my engine run nice. Yours may not need these items. Maybe after 30-50 10 minute flights the ring may have set in, but that is not acceptable. The engine will have used up a good portion of its life. They say 2 gallons to break in. That is what I did and wasted time and probably used up half the life of the engine. That all being said it is still a great engine for the price.
