The first time I flew my plane they fell off in flight! Total waste of money.

Did you place these on mufflers designed for the application of these extensions, or did you add them to a muffler system that was not designed to have them added to it?
If the latter is case you as the user are required to do a little more than just slap the clamp around extension. A pop rivet is a good solution to keeping the extension attached to a non compliant muffler. I hope this will help for future applications of these extensions.

It would be nice if they came in pairs, since it is for a Twin cyl.

Easy fit, a must have to extend the exhaust outside the airframe.
